2020 Music in the Park
Suspended earlier this season because of the global coronavirus pandemic, the 21st season of Ottawa’s summer concert series was rebooted in an abbreviated version in July. The first concert featuring The Classix drew a happy audience and many requests to know when the next concert was planned. The series is sponsored by The Ottawa Special Events Committee.
“The Special Events Committee and the City of Ottawa are glad we can bring back a little normal with Music in the Park,” said Ottawa Commissioner Wayne Eichelkraut. “We hope you enjoy it … but remember to please keep social distancing … that is the only way we can continue this program.”
Concerts begin at 6:00 p.m. in Washington Square. There will not be a rain location, so if there is a weather-related cancellation, an attempt will be made to reschedule. Also, no concession stand will be available.
Social distancing and mask guidelines in accordance with the state’s Phase 4 restoration plan remain in force.
