The City of Ottawa will be accepting requests for parking lot parking permits both for downtown businesses and downtown landlords. The program is currently open and accepting requests from 9/12/2023 – 9/22/2023. Once the request period is closed permits will be assigned and issued. General Guidelines
- Each business in the C4 District can request 1 to 2 permits for their business. (excluding First National, First Federal and the Downtown Courthouse).
- Landlords within the C4 District are able to request 1 permit per apartment that is occupied.
- Permits are valid from 7 am to 5 pm (Monday – Friday) excludes weekends and holidays.
If interested in participating in the program please pick up a request at the Ottawa Police Department 301 W. Lafayette St., Ottawa IL 61350.
All applications need to be returned by 4 PM (end of business day) on 9/22/23 to the Ottawa Police Department 301 W. Lafayette ST., Ottawa, IL 61350.
Permits will be issued by September 30th, 2023
Program will be in effect as of October 1st, 2023
